Nike KD 7 “35000 Degrees”

This weekend heats up with the arrival of the Nike KD 7 “35,ooo Degrees”. The colorway was initially dubbed the “DMV” based off its resemblance to its Nike KD 5 counterpart. As Nike Basketball tells it, the 35K represents Kevin Durant’s lightening hot game on the court, striking in several directions with white hot speed and precision.

The KD 7 colorway narrative begins with lightning, and more specifically the average temperature of a lightning strike – 35,000 degrees Fahrenheit. It also builds on KD’s insight of wanting to be lightning-quick. The KD 7 35,000 Degrees colorway features a bright mango upper, volt outsole and hits of deep grey to represent the electric nature of lightning strikes. Stratospheric graphics and nods to lightning also appear on the sole and Swoosh. The kicks see an upper controlled by a brazen bright mango colorway that pops off the shoe. Nike favorite “volt” plays the accents on on the sole as well as Max unit. Tying it all together is a light grey.

The Nike KD 7 “35,000 Degrees” is set to release tomorrow, July 12, 2014 at select Nike Basketball retailers, including Sneaker Politics. Inspired by lightning, and more specifically the average temperature of a lightning strike – 35,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Dressed in a Mango-based upper with Space Blue, Grey and Volt accents.

Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle “People’s Champ”

The arrival of the Nike KD VI (6) NSW Lifestyle QS “People’s Champ” is vastly approaching, and we’ve got a release date for you!

Unlike other lifestyle releases, this style celebrates Kevin Durant’s humble beginnings and overall attitude that’s won the respect of those who have supported him since day one. To reiterate this, Nike works in a lumberjack palette to represent the working class, brown canvas to mimic a boot’s aesthetic, and other notable like metal eyelets that remind us those times where one had to roll up their sleeves and go to work.

Per Nike: The pride of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, Kevin Durant grew up right outside the nation’s capitol, an area known for fostering a diligent and resilient working class. Surely, KD’s humble beginnings have attributed to his relentless work ethic. He’s never forgotten where he comes from, a fact reinforced by the latest KD VI NSW Lifestyle. Inspired by workwear staples, the KD VI NSW Lifestyle – People’s Champ combines indigo denim with boot-like additions, including wheat-colored canvas and metal eyelets. The KD VI Lifestyle’s signature double tongue employs a red-and-black plaid print for an authentic lumberjack feel. The same work ethic that made him a star keeps him grounded. For the people, by the people, we bring you the KD VI NSW Lifestyle – People’s Champ.

The Nike KD 6 Lifestyle “People’s Champ” will release on October 5th, 2013. The shoe is one wrapped up in workwear staples, a set of materials that speaks to Durant’s upbringing in the working class Seat Pleasant, MD. There’s denim, metal eyelets, some flannel patterning, and boot style laces to tie the whole thing together. The shoe arrives as the second of lifestyle pairs for KD, his model of that sort this year extending the silhouette higher up than it’s ever been on his basketball range. Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle “Birthday”

The Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle “Birthday” will release this Saturday, September 14th. Keep in mind that Kevin Durant’s birthday isn’t until September 29th, but Nike has decided to celebrate a little bit early for whatever reason. The release will be the first of his new Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle silhouette, a shoe that sees his sneaker line extending up to new heights via a crazy double-tongue design. Continue reading for complete images on the sneakers and watch for them to release at stores like Foot Locker this weekend. And remember-if you’re grabbing a pair from their make sure you’re familiar with their raffle system on limited releases like these.

Here it is – a thorough and detailed on-feet look at the upcoming Nike KD VI NSW sneaker that had the sneaker community ablaze earlier today. The sneaker has some clear inspiration from both the Nike KD V (the high tongue) and soon-to-release Nike KD VI, and the colorway we see here is a sure-fire combo platter of Yeezy goodness and Mag magnificence. But is it something we expected? With Kobe and LeBron getting their own off-the-court spin-offs, it only makes sense that the third leg of Nike’s Big Three gets the proper treatment.

As stated before, the colorway we see here is an unabashed high-energy composition of two of the most noticeable colorways out there on the sneaker market. The polka dots on the toe-box and the heel add a bit of a playful yet stylish detail, while the bulging Swoosh and the forefoot softens up the uber-sporty look of the Nike KD VI. But enough talk – there’s more to see below so take a look and we’ll be sure to update you with release information, pricing, and all of that goodness of the Nike KD NSW.

Where exactly did the Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle “Birthday” pick up on that polka dot look? Apparently the print was pulled from a shirt that Kevin Durant actually wore on his birthday last year. He’ll be able to follow that up this year with the likes of some polka dot sneakers thanks to this pair, which will be in stores as of tomorrow, September 14th. Continue reading for the best preview yet of this first Nike KD 6 NSW Lifestyle release and then tell us in the comments whether or not you approve.
