Nike Zoom KD 10 “Anniversary”

By the time the Nike KD 10 makes its debut the Golden State Warriors will most likely be crowned the Western Conference Champions and will be awaiting their match-up against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals for the 3rd straight year. Before the shoe’s release, here is an official look at the Anniversary colorway of the KD 10 that drops later this week.

The first colorway of the Nike KD 10 has been dubbed the Anniversary colorway and celebrates this being Kevin Durant’s 10th signature shoe with Nike. The shoe features a Faint Blue Flyknit upper with tonal detailing on the new lacing system, the KD logo on the tongue, and the full-length Nike Zoom Air unit. Contrast comes on the multicolor Swoosh which features intermixed team colors from Durant’s teams since college that include the UT Longhorns, Seattle Supersonics, OKC Thunder, and Golden State Warriors.

Today, Nike officially unveils the KD 10, Kevin Durant’s 10th signature shoe and the most advanced yet. Designed by Leo Chang, who has penned the KD signature series since its genesis, the Nike KD 10 features the most evolved basketball-specific Flyknit upper ever created. The Zoom-fortified midsole from the KD 9 and KD 9 Elite returns for the KD 10 with an all-new traction pattern on the outsole.

As part of the official unveiling, Nike announces two launch colorways. The “Anniversary” colorway features a tonal light blue upper with a multi-colored Swoosh that honors all the major teams KD has played for – the UT Longhorns, Seattle Sonics, OKC Thunder, and Golden State Warriors. The “Still KD” version features a white Flyknit upper with a Chrome Swoosh.

The momentous release of the Nike KD 10 kicks off with the drop of the “Anniversary” colorway, which pays tribute to all of Durant’s past teams in a subtle way: a multicolored swirl on the Swooshes of the otherwise tonal light blue colorway. The Texas Longhorns, the Seattle Sonics, and the Oklahoma City Thunder, they’re all there in the mix along with the blue and yellow of his current squad. Get an official look at the “Anniversary” colorway here, and expect the debut “Preheat” colorway of the KD 10 to drop on May 26th in limited quantities on Nike SNKRS.
